Surya sagitta choir of UMP

      Surya sagitta choir is one of many student organization in muhammadiyah university of purworejo. It was founded on 1st august 1999. The organization aims to gather studens from all majors to learn about choir, music, entertaint, part of note and to give experience running an organization.

       Like many other organizations, Surya Sagitta choir has an organization structure. It consist of main division and subdivisions. The main division consist of president of surya sagitta choir, vice president of surya sagitta choir, two secretary, two treasure, one conductor of surya sagitta choir. The subdivisions consist of household subdivision, religion subdivision, assistan conductor, public relationship subdivision, prosperity subdivision, social media subdivision. The president’s duty is to control and maintain the stability and direction where the organization going. The duty of the vice president is to assist the president and become substitution of the president in case the president doesn’t present. The duty of the secretaries is to organize the incoming and outgoing letters. The treasurers’ duty is to organize the organization’s finance. The conductor’s duty is to organize the vocal, technique, and musical note trainee. The household subdivivion’s duty is to organize the contents of basecamp. The prosperity subdivision’s duty is organize menthal and physyc one by one the members of surya sagitta choir.  The Public Relationship Subdivision’s duty is maintaining the relationship between surya sagitta choir and outsiders. The social media Subdivision’s duty is promoting surya sagitta choir through social media.

        Surya sagitta choir is always has the agenda each the campus has the event like, opening and closing ceremony of PPKKMB, ceremony of independence day, ceremony of education day, ceremony of “kesaktian Pancasila”, ceremony of patriot day, graduation ceremony, and many others. Surya sagitta has the event by themself like, open reqruitment new members of surya sagitta choir, choir concert in every years after has the new members of surya sagitta choir, and many others.

Surya sagitta choir is not got event in the campus but the last event we got the achievement in national festival choir 18^th LPS SAPTA GITA JAYA OF SEMARANG UNIVERSITY, we got the silver medal. It make we proud of ourself, because surya sagitta is new comers in national festival choir.

        Anyone who wants to become a member of surya sagitta choir has to take the open recruitment program. There are some criteria to fulfill. The applicant should be an active student of Muhammadiyah University of Purworejo.

        There are some benefit in joining surya sagitta Choir. You will get many knowledge about entertantment. You can get many friends from other majors in Muhammadiyah University of Purworejo. You can also get many experiences in running an organization. You will be able to join an many achievement in next festival, like national festival choir in lps sapta gita jaya semarang university, national festival choir in soedirman university, national contest of SDGNCF, and many others in next year.
